PEOPLE + PLACES PROJECT

A social engagement project that provides an inclusive space for communities to share stories about who they are and places they live. Participants from underrepresented communities make a unique one-of-a-kind toy that reflects who they are. Each drawing contributed to the project is transferred to fabric and sewn into a homemade toy for participants to keep. Give each one a hug to hear a story about the person and the place they live.

MEDIUM FESTIVAL OF PHOTOGRAPHY

The Eye to Eye Portfolio Reviews take place in San Diego offering an opportunity for photographers to receive exposure and feedback about their work from influential gallery directors, curators, and industry professionals. Participants in our Portfolio Reviews consistently meet with their highest ranked reviewers. In 2017, participating photographers at Medium received 90-100% of their highest ranked review requests. A list of participating 2018 reviewers is found here. The reviews represent an excellent opportunity to begin new relationships in the field, to develop important peer networks, and help gain valuable exposure for your work.
